Power 4 Class of 2025 Recruiting Rankings: Week 10
How does the Power 4 stack up at the end of October?
A relatively uneventful weekend of college football on the gridiron was matched on the recruiting trail. There were a handful of notable commitments, but the major changes come from the fact that ESPN updated their recruiting rankings. Here’s how things stand as we enter the final month before the early signing period.
The ESPN ratings update did not majorly impact the aggregate team ratings. Most likely this is because their ratings are weighted less than On3 and 247Sports’ ratings in On3’s industry ratings, which is the basis for these team ratings.
The other thing I’m noticing this week is how Mike Elko has maintained a strong recruiting class with Texas A&M in his first year on the job. The first recruiting class under a new head coach can always be a little funky, but its an encouraging sign for Aggie fans that he can put together something so strong this early.
Notable Flips:
Rabun Gap, GA 4 Star TE Marshall Pritchett (North Carolina → Alabama)
Pflugerville, TX 4 Star WR Adrian Wilson (Arizona State → Colorado)
Notable Commitments:
Oakland Park, KS 5 Star OT Andrew Babalola (Michigan)
Notable Decommitments:
Loganville, GA 4 Star EDGE Joseph Mbatchou (Florida)
Milton, GA 4 Star WR CJ Wiley (Florida State)
Blue Chip Rating Increases
4 Stars → 5 Stars
Lucedale, MS QB Deuce Knight (Auburn)
This Friday night, Knight put up a statline of 538 passing yards, 113 rushing yards, and 9 total touchdowns. Ridiculous!
Mesquite, TX OT Lamont Rogers (Missouri)
3 Stars → 4 Stars
Bukie, LA CB Kyle Johnson (Houston)
Blue Chip Rating Decreases
5 Stars → 4 Stars
Carrollton, GA QB Julian Lewis (USC)
4 Stars → 3 Stars
Knoxville, TN CB Shannon Blair (Arkansas)
Lucas, TX CB Jayden Lawton (Houston)
Shelby, MS LB LaKendrick James (Mississippi State)
Blackville, SC LB Jaquel Holman (South Carolina)
